Christmas this year is going to be a good one! Didn’t really feel it last year due to illness but this year is going to be a good one and one to remember. Its been a strange old year, with a mix of good and bad depending how you look at it. My main focus has been family, though we’ve had two national lockdowns its made me realise how much family means to me. I really hope we can spend our Christmasses with our family and bring a warm loving end to this strange year.
Who already has their Christmas shopping sorted? I’ll let you guys get on with whatever you were doing before I disturbed you. For the rest that haven’t got all their gifts sorted or even started, grab a cuppa and join me for some ideas.
Whatever you decide, I hope you have a brilliant Christmas, we definitely need it.
Subscription Gift Boxes
There are plenty of subscription boxes out there at the moment from beauty, food, stationary and gin to books and even pants by post. I love some of these boxes, they are such a fab idea. I love receiving lots of little gifts rather than big ones and you can personalise them as much as you want if you make them yourself.
My favourite beauty subscription at the moment is the Glossybox one, I’ve received three monthly boxes so far and I’m just loving them. They have deals on at the moment for different subscription packages. I’ve received body and face scrubs, moisturisers, eye creams, lipstick, primer, blush, shower gel, chocolate bars, eyeshadow pallete with brush, glitter face mask, hair mask and purple clay mask. I love the box design and the special edition one I got. I would recommend the Glossybox as a gift.

The other subscription box I’m getting at the moment is a monthly subscription food hamper, the Degustabox. 10-15 products a month, some of which are new to the market products. These goodies are cheaper than buying separately. I’ve had one box so far and I’m looking forward to the next one. I got pretzels, flapjacks, protein bars, nacho snack pack, crepes, biscuits, coffee, hot chocolate, noodles and brioche buns.

Beauty Gift Sets
There are lots of beauty gift sets on the market at the moment. My favourites are Elemis and Temple Spa, I’ve been using these products to help keep my skin looking its best.
The Elemis Superfood Gift Set is so luxurious, I’m loving this 3 step skincare system for the colder months. Cleanse the face with the Cica Calm Cleansing Foam, pat dry with a clean towel then smooth on the facial oil and massage in. Finish with a couple of pumps of the hydration juice. I use these morning and evening to feel fresh for the morning and pampered on the evening. They leave my skin looking radiant and hydrated and me feeling ready for the day ahead.

You’ll know from my previous posts that I do love my temple spa, they are the ultimate skin and body care range. I use Easy On The Eye to remove my makeup, then Toning Essence before my moisturiser. The Glowcolic Resurfacing Toner (gifted) is a new product that exfoliates and brightens skin. Ingredients include glycolic acid, vitamin c and lactic acid. its great for all skin types but I wouldn’t recommend for the super sensitive.
Any of these products would make great gifts for those spa lovers, read my previous post about having a relaxing spa experience at home.

Its A Wonderful Life is an energising shower gel, I love that’s its an exfoliator and shower gel in one. The lemon, mint and bergamot leave you feeling fresh and clean. The smell is quite strong and can seem quite overpowering so I’d use it for those morning showers. I wish I knew about Sole Balm long before I found it, my feet are always feeling dry and tired. This balm leaves them soft and revitalised, I’ve been using it every day.

If you love Temple Spa check out their Into The Woods Mediterranean Seasonal Gift Collection, their Do Not Disturb, peace and relaxation collection and To The Rescue, CBD Saviours sets look amazing! Perfect for Christmas gifts.
Bath and Body Gifts
There doesn’t seem to be a Christmas where I haven’t received any bath and body gifts but Lush has to be my all time favourite. Their gift wraps and boxes are just perfect. You can choose how big or small a gift you want. The shower and bath bombs are fab!

Seasonal Planners

I received this Winter planner in return for an honest review and I have to say, I didn’t know seasonal planners existed but they are the future.
Seasonal planners allow you to start afresh each season, keeping focused on your tasks at hand and stress free. This planner is very interactive and includes lots of pages and useful tools to help you plan your life. It is the Personal Assistant you wish you had!
It has ready printed pages so that you can doodle, make to do lists, shopping lists, plan your calendar, make goals, plan budgets and it even has meal planner sections and fun facts. Its set out a page a day and even down to times of the day, ensuring you never miss a thing.
This planner should be on everyone’s desk, I guarantee you will love it.
Please note that when you do receive it, it does look quite plain in black and white but once you’ve coloured it and made your notes it will come alive. To buy your winter one, click here.
Check them out at facebook.com/seasonalplanners and let Kirsten know I sent you.

For more gift ideas, have a read of my previous post about supporting local businesses or my post about makeup for under a fiver. You could treat your loved ones to an impromptu afternoon tea picnic or some sweets, some wax melts for the cosy season, a pamper or manicure at their local salon or a bath bomb for relaxing at home, an off roading or driving experience. You could get them some stationary or notebooks for their desk at home or you could even get them some CBD oils if they take them. See my wishlist if you want some book ideas for the bookworms in your life.
I hope you have an amazing Christmas and manage to see family and friends.
Thanks for reading!

I like the concept of a subscription package, but I’m so picky that I could never commit to something like that as I’d probably get more stuff I didn’t like than I did like. So like a t-shirt subscription service often has colours I don’t like, for example, as I mainly wear black. Still, if you can match the right person to the subscription service, you could be onto a winner
